Our web design for Boat Hampton places lifestyle images front and center, while keeping all of the information a client could need within easy reach. It’s a gentle user experience and simple interface designed to inspire and convert.
Web design is about form and function. This project emphasizes function and how Squarespace’s services can improve sales, social media, and more.
The North Coal offers their clients a premium, fun, dynamic experience and it was time their website did the same. Our team took The North Coal’s existing site and gave it a design overhaul. We optimized the layout, content placement, and overall functionality of the site - giving clients a seamless experience.
This is what it looks like when a website serves a community. We infused traditional page layouts with dynamic content that is constantly evolving, with informational features such as an events calendar, blog, and vendor directory.
Our team took Seek Refuge’s creative ideas and used them as a powerful springboard to build a site that provides everything their community needs to connect and inspire current and future members.
To build Bay Cove’s new website we led their organization through knowledge management and content mapping exercises to develop a new, user-friendly site structured based around service categories and actions their constituents need to take.
To position this aspiring real estate brand we developed a refined brand identity and a robust website to serve as their digital content hub for articles, photos, and video.
We created a website that feels like an extension of the GLAM experience, not only in visual design, but in ease of user experience and the value of the information and actions available on the site.
To give this modern rheumatology practice a home on the web we used the Earthy, inviting tones of its branding to create a modern, calming digital space to learn more about the condition and services the practice is built around.
For Cozure, we developed a website that is a hub for content, organized around topical categories, with a consistent, mobile-first experience across all devices.
We developed a brand identity and website for Gecho Homes that conveys the real estate brand’s luxurious and confident feel, dedication to excellence, and inviting personality.
When it comes to putting GLAMBeauty Bar’s name on everything and anything, we are the team for it. We developed the exterior and interior signage for two locations, as well as their print collateral - everything from business and appointment cards, to rack cards, and temporary signage for pop up shops. Our team also managed the production and installation of these items. It doesn’t get much better with a creative time, to be honest.
Simple style can be difficult to master. Whole Assistant is a no nonsense brand that wants to optimize their client’s work life. To do so, they hired Markon to optimize their website. We took their primary goal - to get prospective clients to download a free guide - and reworked the style and layout of their website to make it easy for visitors to get all the right information and leave with the freebie. That’s content driven web design for you.
We built a gorgeous commerce and blog site for our friend at Classically Curated. To make sure that visitors get to the right destination, categorical browsing is the central attribute of the site’s design. No matter where a visitor found themselves on site, no matter how they got to the site, we wanted them to be able to get to the right category of apparel, or blog topic, so that they can consume the content they came looking for. The site does all of that with a bit of Charleston, South Carolina charm.
Good user experience and user interface design will carry any company far, no matter their size, age, or mission. GoKid came to Markon with two issues: an inconsistent expression of their brand’s visual identity across their website; and a need to better guide their customers to the right content. We conducted a thorough site review and provided our analysis and explicit direction to redesign their website to ensure brand consistency and a sense of logic to their content and navigation.
Markon has been Elite Performance Dance Camps’ strategic brand partner since the lifestyle and athletics launched in Seattle, Washington. Over the years our team has developed their brand identity, print marketing and trade show collateral, and designed an annual apparel line. We even oversee the apparel’s production. It’s a relationship expressed in pixels, ink, and brand consistency.
Treat is known for bringing the sweet stuff to downtown Vancouver, Washington. Though their brand identity is strong, it wasn’t quite the right fit. Markon was commissioned to modernize their brand identity, by creating a single logo that could be used online and in print. We abandoned their previous script and icon and went for literal clean lines and san serif font. To give the new logo a first run in life, we designed a simple ice cream cup with the brand’s new color palette. The result literally looks edible.
Web design shouldn’t be overthought. The internet is crowded and some websites are way too clunky. Anderson Parking hired Markon to update their website and after getting to know them, we knew we needed to build something clean, modern, and streamlined - much like their business - to serve them well. The Atlanta-based valet service now has a website that is simple in its structure, but robust in its brand expression and content.
Style can be enticing. Great content can be convincing. Kaiti Orf came to Markon with a dream to own her very own blog and from that dream we built a website that Kaiti could use to express herself in a clean, streamlined, and well-organized way. The site is an example of how organization and aesthetic simplicity can elevate actual content, which is what it’s all really about anyway. Now Indianapolis, Indiana can claim one more blogger with a great website to its cultural conversation.
