All in Brand Identity

GLAMBeauty Bar

When it comes to putting GLAMBeauty Bar’s name on everything and anything, we are the team for it. We developed the exterior and interior signage for two locations, as well as their print collateral - everything from business and appointment cards, to rack cards, and temporary signage for pop up shops. Our team also managed the production and installation of these items. It doesn’t get much better with a creative time, to be honest.

Classically Curated

We built a gorgeous commerce and blog site for our friend at Classically Curated. To make sure that visitors get to the right destination, categorical browsing is the central attribute of the site’s design. No matter where a visitor found themselves on site, no matter how they got to the site, we wanted them to be able to get to the right category of apparel, or blog topic, so that they can consume the content they came looking for. The site does all of that with a bit of Charleston, South Carolina charm.

Elite Performance Dance Camps

Markon has been Elite Performance Dance Camps’ strategic brand partner since the lifestyle and athletics launched in Seattle, Washington. Over the years our team has developed their brand identity, print marketing and trade show collateral, and designed an annual apparel line. We even oversee the apparel’s production. It’s a relationship expressed in pixels, ink, and brand consistency.

Treat

Treat is known for bringing the sweet stuff to downtown Vancouver, Washington. Though their brand identity is strong, it wasn’t quite the right fit. Markon was commissioned to modernize their brand identity, by creating a single logo that could be used online and in print. We abandoned their previous script and icon and went for literal clean lines and san serif font. To give the new logo a first run in life, we designed a simple ice cream cup with the brand’s new color palette. The result literally looks edible.

The Cottages

As with anything, websites need a little bit of tender love and care. Sometimes they have to be rebuilt from the ground up. The Cottages came to Markon with a website built on an obsolete platform that they could no longer maintain. Using the general layout and content of the existing site, we built a fresh new site with an updated aesthetic to appeal to a modern audience. Embedding new features, such as in-page application forms, made the site functionally modern as well as stylish.

Columbia Commercial

Times change and so do companies. When Columbia Commercial changed some of its mission they decided it was also time for a brand refresh. Using the existing branding as a guide we made simple style changes to elements of their logo that make for a significant update. People should never forget the power of typography, color, and arrangement. There’s a lot you can intentionally, or inadvertently communicate when you combine the three. In this case, we signaled to the community that Columbia Commercial is still relevant, still making waves, and ready to innovate.

Salt MD

The founder of Salt MD wanted to take as many steps apart from the rest of the visual identity of her industry as possible. To do so, we took this high-tech medical esthetics brand in a direction so literal that we came back with some mildly abstract rifts on the literal name of the brand. The result is a brand identity, website, and business cards that have an elemental feel, while also communicating a sense of luxury, precision, and expertise.

Full Circle Dance

Function has to come with style. That’s the rule of this game. Full Circle Dance offers gender-neutral dance classes in the Denver, Colorado metro region. Markon was hired to mature the young dance studio’s logo, which was not quite complete, and to finish a website that had not yet reached its prime potential. Our team refined the existing logo concept, re-structured and re-styled the website, to create two products that can represent and work for both the studio and its audience.

Foode Cafe & Catering

A brand built on the principle of bringing all things fresh has to look fresh, too, right? Right. Foode Cafe & Catering had been bringing the meals to Vancouver, Washington for a hot minute before the founders came to Markon and asked us to give their visual identity a fresh squeeze. We took their request to use the color green and a single letter and then gave their logo a total redo. Our deliverable included a solid gray iteration of the logo as a tool they could use to stand out, too.

Green Mountain Structural Engineering

Markon was hired by Green Mountain Structural Engineering shortly after the structural engineering firm was founded to design a brand identity and website that spoke to a sense of precision and expertise. Given the direction to lean toward the literal, our team developed a brand identity and website that relies on expressions of elements of the name. As the firm grew, so do our relationship, and today Markon manages the design and production of their print marketing collateral, and public relations strategy.

Hadley Beauty Co.

We were brought on to launch Hadley Beauty Co.’s brand identity and reputation. To do so, we designed a clean, modern brand identity and developed print collateral to match. For the launch event, our team designed and produced a print invitation for select guests, and then crafted a press release that we distributed to a list of industry-specific media figures and influencers.

1000 Stories Events

Repeat after us: design your brand identity at the launch of your company. Say it again. Markon was selected to design the brand identity and print collateral for 1000 Stories, a Pacific Northwest based event planning group. We took a few design queues from the brand’s founder and ran with them. The result is a quirky, fun, vibrant brand identity that looks great in print and online. As the company has grown they’ve been able to leave their mark on everything they’ve done. Literally. That helps build a reputation, too.

Waste Connections

Our team has designed and produced a wide array of operational assets for Waste Connections. For this project, the Pacific Northwest giant came to us to develop a public information campaign around a charity campaign they were running. We designed a brand identity for the campaign, complete with tagline, and then created print and digital collateral to get the message out.

Dress for Success Oregon

Design can be a vehicle for empowerment. That’s exactly how we used it for our friends at Dress For Success Oregon. The Pacific Northwest chapter of the national organization came to us for design and strategy on two separate fundraising campaigns. Our team developed social media and public relations strategies and then designed collateral for both, including social graphics, direct mail items, and even billboards featured around Portland, Oregon.

Men's Natural Care Products

Our team worked with the founder of Men’s Natural Care Products to design a brand identity, product packaging, and labels around an entire customer demographic. Based on the data provided to us and guidance from the founder, we created an identity system that works seamlessly across mediums, be it social media, a box, or bottle.

Infinity Events

The founder of Infinity Events commissioned Markon to design the Las Vegas-based event planning company’s brand identity, website, and print collateral. While the founder worked on business strategy, research, and business development, we created all of the collateral the brand would need to grow.

Pink Lemonade Project

Organizations evolve and so should their brand identity and website. Markon worked with Pink Lemonade Project through the creation of their brand identity, it’s first major refinement and the construction and launch of two websites, as well as a series of branded events, programs, and fundraising campaigns. In total, our team has created over 100 unique assets for Pink Lemonade Project, from logos, to trade show banners, and websites to vehicle graphics.
