All in Web Design

Refuge Church

Our team took Seek Refuge’s creative ideas and used them as a powerful springboard to build a site that provides everything their community needs to connect and inspire current and future members.

Bay Cove Human Services

To build Bay Cove’s new website we led their organization through knowledge management and content mapping exercises to develop a new, user-friendly site structured based around service categories and actions their constituents need to take.

GLAMbeauty bar

We created a website that feels like an extension of the GLAM experience, not only in visual design, but in ease of user experience and the value of the information and actions available on the site.

Integrative Rheumatology

To give this modern rheumatology practice a home on the web we used the Earthy, inviting tones of its branding to create a modern, calming digital space to learn more about the condition and services the practice is built around.

For Cozure, we developed a website that is a hub for content, organized around topical categories, with a consistent, mobile-first experience across all devices.

Whole Assistant

Simple style can be difficult to master. Whole Assistant is a no nonsense brand that wants to optimize their client’s work life. To do so, they hired Markon to optimize their website. We took their primary goal - to get prospective clients to download a free guide - and reworked the style and layout of their website to make it easy for visitors to get all the right information and leave with the freebie. That’s content driven web design for you.

Classically Curated

We built a gorgeous commerce and blog site for our friend at Classically Curated. To make sure that visitors get to the right destination, categorical browsing is the central attribute of the site’s design. No matter where a visitor found themselves on site, no matter how they got to the site, we wanted them to be able to get to the right category of apparel, or blog topic, so that they can consume the content they came looking for. The site does all of that with a bit of Charleston, South Carolina charm.

Anderson Parking

Web design shouldn’t be overthought. The internet is crowded and some websites are way too clunky. Anderson Parking hired Markon to update their website and after getting to know them, we knew we needed to build something clean, modern, and streamlined - much like their business - to serve them well. The Atlanta-based valet service now has a website that is simple in its structure, but robust in its brand expression and content.

Kaiti Orf

Style can be enticing. Great content can be convincing. Kaiti Orf came to Markon with a dream to own her very own blog and from that dream we built a website that Kaiti could use to express herself in a clean, streamlined, and well-organized way. The site is an example of how organization and aesthetic simplicity can elevate actual content, which is what it’s all really about anyway. Now Indianapolis, Indiana can claim one more blogger with a great website to its cultural conversation.

The Cottages

As with anything, websites need a little bit of tender love and care. Sometimes they have to be rebuilt from the ground up. The Cottages came to Markon with a website built on an obsolete platform that they could no longer maintain. Using the general layout and content of the existing site, we built a fresh new site with an updated aesthetic to appeal to a modern audience. Embedding new features, such as in-page application forms, made the site functionally modern as well as stylish.

Salt MD

The founder of Salt MD wanted to take as many steps apart from the rest of the visual identity of her industry as possible. To do so, we took this high-tech medical esthetics brand in a direction so literal that we came back with some mildly abstract rifts on the literal name of the brand. The result is a brand identity, website, and business cards that have an elemental feel, while also communicating a sense of luxury, precision, and expertise.

Full Circle Dance

Function has to come with style. That’s the rule of this game. Full Circle Dance offers gender-neutral dance classes in the Denver, Colorado metro region. Markon was hired to mature the young dance studio’s logo, which was not quite complete, and to finish a website that had not yet reached its prime potential. Our team refined the existing logo concept, re-structured and re-styled the website, to create two products that can represent and work for both the studio and its audience.

We love to style a website that is built with the best of intentions. TechTalks is an important initiative that’s all about digital health through productive dialogue and education. It’s no surprise then that the organization had excellent content that just needed a polished platform to live on. Our team refined the site’s design and structure to ensure that future visitors could learn all about the San Francisco, California based nonprofit and, most importantly, reach out and talk.

Maple Lofts

Style is important. So is integrity and ease of access. Maple Lofts website is all about creating clear paths to pertinent information that can save lives. The Jersey City, New Jersey nonprofit has an extraordinary and vital mission. To help them realize it, our team created a straightforward design that takes a backseat to the information the site provides.

Jenny Be Art

Entrepreneurs have to share two things: their craft and their passion for their craft. To help Jenny Be do just that we built a website that could be described as both airy and precise. We used ample white space to give the pops of dynamic color, which defines her art, room to expand and entice. The straightforward site layout makes it easy to navigate between blog and shop and back again. The result is a website that helps the Temecula, California based artist sell her most exquisite works.

CX Advisors

Responsive design (read: mobile-friendly) is an absolute must. It’s so fundamental we rarely talk about it because we take it for granted. Yet, creating a responsive design that can scale down from the screen of a 21” iMac to a standard iPhone isn’t always so simple. CX Advisors hired Markon to resolve image scaling issues on their website and to audit their content for both message and format. We delivered the client a script of custom code to resolve their scaling issue and then we provided a report with our recommendation for improving their site’s value as a brand and marketing asset.

Julia Otis

We love a good digital portfolio. Julia Otis came to us with a dream to build a gorgeous web portfolio. As a UX designer and business pro, she had great ideas, but no resources to implement along with all of her other life responsibilities. Markon was hired to take her dream and build the nearest representation of her ideas as possible. The resulting website is a marriage between her design guidance and our technical implementation.

Brewganic Coffee

An aspiring quick service food brand needs a website as enticing as the scent of its product. Especially when it’s coffee! This Auburn, Washington based coffee brand came to Markon to help launch a simple, concise website. We took Brewganic’s existing brand identity and built a website that’s meant to be a hearty sip of all the brand has to offer. Just a sip, though. You have to go out into the real world to have the whole experience.

Lord Interior Design

Content is king and the structure of your website is the thrown upon which is rests. Lake Oswego, Oregon based Lord Interior Design came to us to build a new portfolio website. They brought with them thousands of photos and hours worth of dialogue describing their identity, process, experiences, and services. We took the breadth of all of those things and built a website that has an editorial feel, so that visitors feel like they’re comfortably browsing a publication as they learn more about how Lord can help them live beautifully in their home.
