Even the "hottest chair in town" has to rely on more than just word-of-mouth to keep its lobby full and its appointment book dripping black with ink. Reputation stands alone in a room of newcomers, and fresh clients is exactly what Red Chair Salon & Spa wants their website to bring them. With that in mind, we built a simple, informational website, branded to reflect the real world experience of visiting Red Chair, with photographs taken on site at the salon. We knew that to get new clients into Vancouver, Washington's hottest chair they would need to have a feel for what kind of experience they might have offline. To do that, we incorporated client feedback, with active links to feedback posted by real clients, themselves, on a third-party site. Add in a menu, a simple, but highly functional contact page and a tool to easily book an appointment over the web and the hottest chair in town now has a hot new space on the web.

A web presence to complement reality

Now when Red Chair's clients go out into the world, or log into social media, they can link back to their favorite salon's website when they boast about their awesome new hair style. It might seem like a simple thing to do, to give props to a great service, but it's also a powerful took for referral and conversion. We imagine their won't be any empty chairs for a while over there.

A Word From Their Clients

The style of our hair is a signature piece of our visual identity and our personal brand. Who we let style our hair is a competitive question, there are a lot of stylists vying for clients. One way to help prospective clients decide to choose Red Chair Salon & Spa was to include real world feedback from clients. We did this by pulling reviews from Genbook, that we featured in a 3-column format on Red Chair's home page. If those aren't enough, users can easily navigate to the Genbook site on their own and read even more.

Full Service Menu & Contact

Why not make all of the details transparent? Websites make it so easy to create full service menus that take the guess work out of wondering what the cost of an experience with your company might be like. For Red Chair, we laid out all of the details on a single web page for ease of layout and view. When a prospective client is ready, they need only to head over to the Contact page, where they'll find the salon's location on a Google Map, phone, email and the option to book an appointment online. That's 24/7/365 ability to client's to make their own appointments - not bad!
