Michael loves to connect people with information through technology. As the Information Architect at Markon, he creates strategically-organized, visually-appealing websites and herds (and optimizes) all of the structured data around a brand online. He believes that a website, social media channel, or even Google listing should look and feel like an extension of its brand. The result of which is an immersive digital experience for end users.
Michael joined Markon in 2014 and brought with him a history of creating content for websites, blogs, video, public radio and television, and yes - print - for over a decade. He believes that data-driven, user-feedback-focused decisions are at the core of developing - and maintaining - powerful brand experiences. When he’s not building websites for aspiring brands, Michael can be found plotting his next travel adventure - places next on his list include New Zealand and Iceland.
He holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the Information School at the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Christopher Newport University.
